FEED THE HOMELESS AND KEEP THEM COMPANY: Consider being part of a rotating schedule to help prepare and serve dinner and keep company with those who have fallen on hard times. There are several shelters in the Rogers Park and Uptown neighborhoods of Chicago and one in the neighboring city of Evanston. They always need volunteers.
